Nikon announced updates to two lenses in my bag. They are probably my most used lenses too. The downside, they are EXPENSIVE!!! The Nikkor 70-200mm VRII comes in at $2,400 and the 18-200mm VRII comes in at $850. I bought the 18-200mm VR when it first came out for $750 and amazingly bought the 70-200mm VR two years ago for $1,600 (currently $1,900). I don't see much difference between the two 18-200mm lenses on paper but the 70-200mm is tickling my fancy. It should take care of the vignetting found on the FX sensors that really never bothered me and it looks like there are three adjustmment rings on the lens. Nano coating is a plus and has two more Extra-low Dispersion elements. It's on the wishlist, but I don't think it is ever going to reach the checkout.
